Starting October 2012 Judy R Clark will open her studio doors to students/school leavers/fashionista's wanting to progress with their portfolios and careers and find out more about the fashion industry. The course will be directed around your specific needs and guide you through areas of your portfolio that need to be developed. Each class will only be open to 3-4 students at a time so the designer can engage with you on a one to one basis.
The weekend workshops will begin October 13th.
Workshops will concentrate on the following areas:
Basic Sewing skills
Sewing up a toile
Mood boards
Design development
Fashion illustration
Fabric selection
Presenting your work visually
The weekend course will cost £120 per person, a 50% deposit is required to secure a place.The course will be completed over two days Saturday and Sunday.

The studio is near Broughton Street, Leith Walk and Stockbridge...very central and easy to get to.
